Buddies at first sip

"Conveying the joy in the glass!" Epa, aka Erwin-Peter Albert, clearly has a passion for his work written all over his face. In 2015, he took over his parents' farm in the Kraichgau region and has been producing lean, elegant Pinot Noirs in the former cowshed ever since. "Purist with a touch of acidity" is how he describes the style of his 3-hectare estate. It works, and it's a lot of fun. Especially when paired with organic asparagus, the Alberts' second mainstay. We're looking forward to our second visit with Epa in Basel. It already feels like an old friend is dropping by again.
