- CHATEAU LE GRAND VOSTOCK - this is the first full-cycle winemaking estate in Russia, modeled after a classic French chateau. Winery was founded in 2003 in the south of Russia. The project was launched as Russian-French: it was originally planned with participation of potential French investors. A young French couple of winemakers (Frank Duseigneur and Gaëlle Brullon) was invited to work there. 250 hectares are occupied by grape plantations, young vines were brought from the French nurseries SARL “MERCIER FRERES” (world leader in vine plants production). Since 2021, the winery has been collaborating with the famous oenologist consultant Michel Rolland and his team. Laboratorie Rolland specialists annually monitor the processes of ripening, harvesting and vinification. Wines of Chateau Le Grand Vostock became the first Russian wines to win international competition IWSC, Concours Mondial and reach top ranks in the Hugh Johnson’s wine book.
