Dzmebis Marani

Brothers' Cellar is a small family winery from Bolnisi. Since 2015, brothers Guram and Giorgi decided to restore the technology of making wine in qvevri in Bolnisi. In our family, wine production for personal consumption began in 1900, thanks to the efforts of our great-grandfather, from Rkatsiteli grapes harvested from our own vineyard in the village of Ratevani. Now we have grown Chinese grapes in this vineyard. The technology was to make wine in oak barrels using the so-called "Shvaburi" method.

The annual production of the Brothers' Winery is 8,000 bottles. We produce wines from local grape varieties: Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, Tavkveri, Asuretuli Shavi, Chinui, experimental wines: Bovi, Ratevani, and also our first experiment was the production of the petnat “Margalita”.

Our wines are sold in local wine shops and bars, as well as in Australia and China.
