The manageable 6 hectares of their farm give the Schlumbergers a great deal of freedom. They personally oversee every step in the vineyards, the cellar, and sales. This creates a circle in which they can live out their ideas. Natural farming practices, sustainability, and a focus on the essentials... Josefine and her parents, Rainer and Stephanie, are passionate about the journey, not just the destination. And the Schlumberger family has been on this journey for a long time: their great-great-grandfather built the large wooden barrels in their cellar.
