The winery is situated in the municipality of Silence-Rechtenbach, where 14 hectares of vineyards are cultivated.

The grapes, consistently low in yield with an average of 65 hl/ha, are predominantly harvested by hand in several stages. Traditional methods are employed for vinification. The wines are marketed under the categories Gutsweine, Ortsweine (from the best vineyards), and Lagenweine (from the best plots).

Half of the vineyard area extends into French territory in Alsace, within the regions of Raedling and Strohlenberg. This cross-border location has earned the owner the nickname “The Border Crosser,” a title that reflects both the geographical span and the style of wine production.
