The area is characterized by its basalt soil, which is deep and sparsely studded with stones. The vineyards are strategically planted at elevations ranging from 750 to 900 meters above sea level. This location benefits from an ideal climate for viticulture, featuring an average humidity of 40%, annual precipitation averaging 1,000 mm, and more than 800 hours of cold temperatures during the winter months.
