Dürkheimer Fuchsmantel is an historic single-vineyard site (Einzellage) on the slopes above Bad Dürkheim that “wraps” around the Flaggenturm lookout (hence the name: “fox mantle”).
It is famed for its winding sandstone terraces and old vines and produces high-quality white wines (especially Riesling) from an expressive, mineral terroir.
Single vineyard in the two communities of Bad Dürkheim and Wachenheim (Mittelhaardt-German Wine Route area) in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz .
