  • In 1994, the breeding line We 94-26-37 was created at the LVWO Weinsberg by crossing the fungus-resistant Regent and Acolon varieties.

The resistance genes were introduced into the new variety through the Regent parent.

In 2023, the variety was named Levitage.

By 2022, it was planted on nearly 10 hectares in Germany.
